the back-to-school “pets” (scissors, pencil) have been put away till next year. i am working on a new animal, but right now it’s a secret!
also, any suggestions for new toys for the existing pets are welcome!

this time the tweak is to the “customize pet” page. if you know the hex code you want for your pet’s colour, you can now type it in directly!
if you are on the customize pet page and you still can’t type in the hex code box, please try clearing your browser’s cache and trying again.
i have added a new page to the adoption centre: advanced techniques, which allows the HTML-savvy among you to further customize your pet. with this know-how you can change your pet’s background and text colour. warning: experts only!
i’ve made some minor behind-the-scenes tweaks to most of the pets. you won’t be able to see what they are yet– if all goes well, you won’t notice a difference at all– but i’m letting you know just in case i messed up. if your pets aren’t acting the way they’re supposed to, please let me know!

pandas are an endangered species. however, according to news sources, the number of pandas born in captivity this year has reached 26, a new record!
now you can have your own panda for your website, myspace, journal or blog, from the adoption centre, in whatever colour you like.
