email signatures

can i put my pet into my yahoo! mail signature?
yes you can!
  1. make your pet and click finish
  2. click on the green "non-flash" tab
  3. click the "copy code" button
  4. log into your yahoo! mail account.
  5. if you are using the new "beta" yahoo mail interface, skip to step 6. otherwise:
    1. click on "mail options". this should be in the upper right hand corner of yahoo mail.
    2. on the options page, click on "general preferences".
    3. scroll down to where it says "Composing E-mails." select the radio button that says "Compose messages as color and graphics". then scroll to the bottom of the page and click on the "save" button.
    4. now click on "signature". this should take you to the signature editing screen.
    5. click on "Color and Graphics" to make sure that you are editing in "color and graphics" mode. then, check the box that says "View HTML Source". the page should look something like this:

    6. now, paste your pet's code into the edit box. then click on "save".
    7. you're done! stop here.
  6. if you are using the new "beta" yahoo mail interface, then do the following:
    1. click on the "options" menu at the top-right of the window, then "mail options" from the menu that appears.
    2. click on "Compose" in the left column of the options screen.
    3. click on the radio button that says "Show a signature on all outgoing messages"
    4. if you see a formatting toolbar, click on the link that says "Plain Text" to make the toolbar go away.
    5. click in the edit box
    6. right click your mouse. a small menu will appear, you will see "paste" as an option.
    7. move your mouse down until "paste" is selected and left click.
      the code will be pasted.
    8. click on the link that says "Rich Text". the formatting toolbar should reappear and your pet will appear in the box
    9. click the "save changes" button at the top
    10. you're done! stop here.

now when you include your signature in an email, your pet should appear!
